Ron
Ron is a veteran missionary. His dream of taking the Gospel from Cape Town (South Africa) to Cairo (Egypt) is close to be realized.
His main focus was to empower local churches to grow themselves. His has also covered the full spectrum of missions from the planting of churches and establishing Bible Colleges to the rendering of assistance to local churches in their church building projects.
Ron has embarked on ambitious Evangelistic programmes. More than 4,800 pastors mainly in Central/East-Africa have been trained in personal Evangelism. Before the Covid lockdown 200,000 first-time decisions for Christ were recorded. It is estimated that this figure has grown closer to 300,000 at present.
The ministry he has founded namely, Africa Missions recently took over a ministry from another organization called Mission Exposure and Training. The main focus is to raise awareness of missions. Close to 1,500 church leaders from several African Countries have been exposed to missions. Many graduates have initiated mission projects in their local countries and abroad.
Ron is a co-founder of the Africa Pentecostal Mission. Their dream is to influence Pentecostal denominations throughout Africa to become involved in missions. On this platform we are now working with mainline churches with a following of several million believers in 26 African countries.
Ron has also helped several international organizations to establish themselves on African Soil.
Ron’s wife is a prayer warrior. In addition to her involvement in Africa Missions she has founded a ministry called King’s Daughters of Excellence.
His successors Thabo and Nadia van Wyk have blended with the vision of Africa Missions and we welcome him on board.
