There will also be a few other GROUPS happening. Check out the details and sign-up below (registration is NOT required for Wednesday night GROUPS at SLFG).

MONDAYS

Healing 101

Monday nights beginning September 28th – November 9th
6:30 – 8:00 p.m.

Led by Dawn Myers

In this small group, we will look into what God’s Word actually says about physical healing and learn the practical application of it to meet any and all needs! Jesus already paid for your healing, and now He wants you to help others get healed as well. Jesus went about healing all who were oppressed by the devil. This is now our responsibility too. Join in the discussion!

TUESDAY’S

Men’s Discipleship & Prayer

6:30 am – 8:00 am, Fellowship Hall, year-round

Led by Bob Buck – adults only

The goal of the Men’s Discipleship & Prayer group is to learn biblical truth, especially as it pertains to our God-ordained roles as men, and grow in likeness to Christ.   “As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.”  – Proverbs 27:17  We encourage men of all ages in the church to join with us, where men regularly support one another in the “fight of faith” (Hebrews 3:12-13). The Christian life is a battle that cannot be fought alone. This group is a time for encouragement in the Word, prayer, study, and friendship.

Women’s Discipleship & Prayer

2 pm – 3 pm, conference room, year-round

Led by Joleen Helbig – adults only

Current events can leave us overwhelmed and full of questions. We have found that when we gather each week to pray, we are participating in the plan that God has for our world rather than worrying about things out of our control. We join together to seek God in prayer for our church, nation, neighborhoods, and families. Each week there is a short devotional and then time spent in prayer. Participating in this group will strengthen your prayer life as you join with other women to seek the heart of God and declare truth over every situation and circumstance. Even if you can only come for a part of the time we encourage you to join us! Your prayer requests are welcomed.
